摩頂

(摩頂, 摩顶)

To lay the hand on the top of the head, a custom of Buddha in teaching his disciples, from which the burning of the spots on the head of a monk is said to have originated.

佛用手撫摩弟子之頂。 通常佛不是為了付囑大法而撫摩弟子之頂， 就是為了授記而撫摩弟子之頂。
